3M Health Care Academy is offering a 2-day seminar on incorporating esthetic treatment into the orthodontic practice. The seminar, “Ecstatic About Esthetics: The New Game in Orthodontics,” will take place November 19 to 20, 2015. It will be taught by David Kemp, DDS, MS, at his practice, Kemp Orthodontics, located in Franklin, Tenn.

The seminar will focus on developing a simple orthodontic business model and identifying tactics to attract patients. In addition, it will explore methods for how to get patients into treatment. Specifically, the seminar will focus on three aspects of incorporating esthetic treatment: marketing, patient consultations, and treatment efficiency.

The treatment portion of the course will look at bonding techniques that reduce failures; Class II correction; Variable Prescription Orthodontics; wire sequencing with tandem wires, filling horizontal/vertical planes; and finishing and detailing.

Five CE credits are available for this course.
