US Congressman Introduces ORTHO Act to Establish Teledentistry Safety Standards
US Congressman Brian Babin (R-TX) has introduced the ORTHO Act (HR 9829). Supported by the American Association of Orthodontists, the bill seeks to establish federal safety standards for teledentistry by requiring in-person clinical examinations and X-ray reviews before orthodontic treatment can begin.
