The May event will include over 200 sessions, an exhibit hall with more than 350 companies, and the New Products Showcase Awards.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is preparing for its 2026 Annual Session, scheduled for May 1-3 in Orlando, Fla. The event is expected to draw over 10,000 attendees from 80 countries and contribute an estimated $25 million in economic impact to the area.
Educational Program and Exhibit Hall
The conference will feature more than 200 sessions on scientific advances, clinical techniques, and practice management. Pre-conference programming will also be available on April 30. The exhibit hall is set to host over 350 exhibitors presenting products and services for orthodontic practices.
“Every year, the AAO Annual Session provides orthodontists and their staff with a myriad of professional and personal growth opportunities,” says Steven M. Siegel, DMD, president of the AAO, in a release. “This year’s event continues the AAO’s commitment to strengthen the profession by bringing the latest technological advancements in the specialty to practitioners from across the United States, Canada and throughout the world.”
New Products Showcase Award Winners
The AAO Annual Session will also host its annual New Products Showcase Awards. Exhibitors will unveil their latest innovations at the event, vying for recognition in the Practice Product and Treatment Product categories. This year’s winners will be determined by onsite voting from orthodontists and residents attending the session.
Last year, Dental Pain Eraser Practice Referral Kits by Synapse Dental won in the New Products Showcase Awards Practice Product category, while DentalMonitoring+ by DentalMonitoring won in the Treatment Product category.
