Henry Schein is accepting applications for its Global Student Outreach Program, which provides up to $10,000 in dental supplies for student-led missions.

Henry Schein Inc has opened the application period for its Henry Schein Cares Global Student Outreach Program, which provides dental schools and student-led organizations with oral health supplies for volunteer missions in underserved communities.

Program Offers Product Donations Valued Up to $10,000

Through the initiative, the company’s corporate citizenship arm, Henry Schein Cares, donates a range of clinical products—including instruments, equipment, and restorative materials—to selected academic institutions. Donations can total up to $10,000 in value. The goal is to support dental students and faculty in delivering emergency care, screenings, and general treatments to communities with limited access to oral health services.

Focus on Hands-On Learning and Community Service

“The best opportunity to integrate volunteerism into a health professional’s career is during school, pairing academic learning with real-world impact,” said David Kochman, senior vice president, chief corporate affairs officer. “Through the Global Student Outreach Program, we are helping health care professionals treat patients and tapping into the passion and potential of the next generation to build a healthier future and foster a lifelong commitment to service, one mission at a time.”

Application Criteria and Eligibility

Applications must be submitted by a current student or faculty member. Each submission must include a detailed plan for a time-bound outreach mission serving underserved populations. All applications are subject to verification with the institution’s leadership. Each school may receive one grant per calendar year. Regularly scheduled clinics are not eligible for this program.
