Planet DDS has launched AutoEligibility, a new integration with DentalXChange that automates insurance eligibility checks directly within Denticon, its cloud-based practice management platform for DSOs and group practices.

The tool gives front-office teams immediate access to insurance coverage information, including deductibles, waiting periods, and Medicaid eligibility—eliminating the need for phone calls or payer portals.

“What used to take our insurance verification team hours now happens seamlessly within Denticon,” said Barbara Maciel, team manager at GoDental Brands. “AutoEligibility has made the process so fast and efficient that one team member will now be able to support multiple offices.”

Reducing Claim Denials and Saving Time

According to the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), insurance verification is the top cause of claim delays and denials. AutoEligibility automates this step by syncing real-time coverage data through DentalXChange.

Practices can save up to 6ix hours per office per day, prevent denials, and improve accuracy in cost estimates, according to the Planet DDS. “One team member completes around 40 verifications per day,” Maciel added. “With AutoEligibility, we expect that number to double.”

Built for Scalable Use

AutoEligibility supports multi-location practices by combining DentalXChange’s payer connectivity with Denticon’s cloud infrastructure.
