The organization also announced that 105 specialists have completed their 10-year certification renewal process.
The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) has certified 381 orthodontists from the Fall 2025 examination cycle. Additionally, 105 orthodontic specialists successfully renewed their certification for another 10 years.
Certification and Renewal Details
ABO Board Certification is a voluntary credential that requires the completion of both Written and Clinical Examinations. To maintain certification, ABO-Board Certified orthodontists must complete a renewal process every 10 years to demonstrate continued proficiency.
“It is an honor to celebrate our Fall 2025 ABO-Board Certified recipients and our colleagues who have successfully completed Certification Renewal. These achievements reflect a commitment to lifelong learning and to continually elevating the quality of patient care. We are grateful for their dedication to the specialty,” says Dr Roberto Hernández-Orsini, president of the American Board of Orthodontics, in a release.
