Smart Aligner Services mentor Andrea Conigliaro received the Best Clinical Case Award at the European Aligner Society 2025 Annual Meeting, spotlighting the company’s focus on mentorship-based clinical education.
Smart Aligner Services (SAS), a Spain-based provider of clinical education in clear aligner orthodontics, was in the spotlight at this year’s European Aligner Society (EAS) Annual Meeting in Rhodes, Greece, as one of its mentors received top clinical honors. Andrea Conigliaro (pictured), a lead educator in the SAS Method program, was awarded the Best Clinical Case Award by the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics (EBAO), an acknowledgment of the quality of case planning and execution supported through SAS’s training model.
“This recognition affirms the value of our model: excellence in clinical guidance, real mentorship, and high-level education led by experienced professionals,” said Dr Luis González, co-founder of SAS.
International Training Platform Draws Attention in Rhodes
SAS was the only Spanish exhibitor and the only participant focused exclusively on education among the industry brands at the event. The company attracted more than 600 orthodontists to its booth, where it presented its mentorship-driven clinical training program for aligner providers. The SAS Method is a 12-month mentorship that includes one-on-one coaching, case reviews, and over 60 hours of online educational content.
The program is delivered by a team of more than 20 orthodontists, including EBAO-certified mentors such as Conigliaro, Ricardo Capuozzo, and Stefano Marini. Training is offered in multiple languages and tailored to the clinical needs of participating doctors.
SAS Launches New Clinical Book
At the Rhodes meeting, SAS also introduced a new publication, Transverse Discrepancies with Clear Aligners, authored by González. Attendees received complimentary copies as part of the company’s broader effort to expand access to clinical education resources.
