1-800-DENTIST, Los Angeles, now offers Live Call with Confirmation for its Patient Activator® patient-communication service. The feature allows orthodontic offices to reach their patient base and confirm appointments automatically.
Combined with the service’s text and e-mail reminders, Live Call connects staff with all scheduled patients to help eliminate no-shows and last minute cancellations. The calls display the practice’s phone number on the patients’ caller ID and use the practice staff’s own voices for the messages. Appointment reminders can be automatically generated each day, directly from the practice-management software. Patients can confirm appointments using their own phone keypad. The orthodontic practice then gets a notification via e-mail, as well as on their online dashboard.
A daily report can be printed out each morning showing which patients have already confirmed their appointments, and how—via e-mail, text, or phone.
