The AAO will hold its [removed]mid-winter conference[/removed], "The Orthodontist as CEO®," in San Diego from February 25 to 27, 2011. The conference will focus on practice-management solutions.

Topics will include the following: how technology decisions impact apractice’s bottom line; how to determine whether a new technology willreally increase practice productivity; how to increase referrals fromdentists and existing patient families; and how to develop a long-termbusiness plan.

In addition, attendees will learn about business tax deductions,retirement portfolio strategies, and cloud computing; and will have theopportunity to talk to experts about business-related challenges.
