In this in-depth series, Dr Trevor Nichols teaches attendees his gummy smile technique and how to solve difficult malocclusion cases with confidence.

Ormco Corp will present a three-part live webinar series called “The 5 keys webinar series: Gaining confidence with clear aligner treatment planning tools.”

Throughout the series, Trevor Nichols, DMD, MS, an orthodontist in private practice at Frost Orthodontics in Arizona, will share a more in-depth look at his five keys to successful clear aligner treatment set up and planning. Participants will learn more about his gummy smile technique and how to solve difficult malocclusion cases with confidence. He’ll also reveal tested clinical protocols to increase predictability and efficiency with clear aligners designed to benefit both the orthodontist and patient.   

The 1-credit CE three-part series begins on May 20, 2021. This first webinar, titled “Key Series I: Creating midface support and beautiful arch width with clear aligners,” will start at 5:30pm PT. The second webinar in the series, “Key Series II: Smile arch and clear aligners, treating to the upper incisor,” will be held on May 25, 2021, at 6:30pm PT. Part three, titled “Key Series III: Gummy smile treatment with clear aligners,” will run on June 1, 2021, at 6:00pm PT.

Participants will learn how to recognize key elements of midface support and arch width; review clinical cases and software planning tool demonstrations; understand arch expansion guidelines; gain a thorough understanding of common pitfalls and corrections needed; recognize torque expression and planning; review attachment placement and TADs; identify treatment characteristics and features to support excellent clinical outcomes.

Nichols has received numerous educational, inaugural awards in clinical excellence and leadership. He attended Arizona State University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Fitness and graduated as ASU’s Valedictorian. He then attended Arizona’s School of Dentistry and Oral health for his doctoral training, where he served as class president. While there he also completed a certificate in dental public health. After obtaining his DMD, Nichols completed his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and gained a Master’s Degree while completing research on temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
