Dentsply Sirona will hold its annual SureSmile Academy User Conference February 27 to 29, 2020 in San Diego. SureSmile 2020, intended for orthodontic professionals, will offer attendees opportunities to participate in workshops, case reviews, and software demonstrations while networking with colleagues from around the world. The clinical program covers an array of digital treatment sessions from aligner therapy to surgical simulations.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers the SureSmile Academy, a continuous training opportunity that is clearly tailored to their needs, topics and questions,” said Dr Alexander Völcker, Group Vice President CAD/CAM and Orthodontics at Dentsply Sirona. “We know from experience that the participants quickly put their learning into practice and immediately gain tangible added value for their patients and their practice.” The congress format is intended to help attendees, both clinicians and team members, put into practice what they have learned the very next day.
Attendees will be the first to get to see new product features released with the latest SureSmile software upgrade.
Don Casey, CEO of Dentsply Sirona, will open the program, while Mike Wittenstein, IBM Global Services’ former eVisionary, who led the company to its first projects in “customer experience design,” will share his market-proven Storymining Process which has contributed almost $2 billion for his clients. Speakers in the clinical education program include Dr Alex Yusupov and Dr Melissa Rathburn. They will cover a range of cases and treatment types, from Class II to surgical, hybrid therapy, advanced diagnostics, robotically-bent wire design, 3D printing, aligner staging, cone beam and Primescan integrations, in-office fabrication, smile design, therapeutic photography, and more.
The conference will begin with a Welcome Reception at the Rooftop Pool and culminate in a gala dinner on the flight deck of the USS Midway, a decorated and now decommissioned aircraft carrier. Winners of Staff Awards, Practice Awards, and Best-of-Awards are also invited to an exclusive Staff Advisory Board luncheon with the keynote speaker and Dentsply Sirona executives.
