The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP), and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) have partnered to create a free PPE Optimization webinar presented by Kathy Eklund, RDH, MHP. The webinar will be worth one CE credit and will be held on Friday, December 4, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm CST.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many challenges for those in dental healthcare settings, including shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other supplies. OSAP and ADHA will provide guidance on how to navigate these situations and utilize available supplies effectively.
Topics include what PPE is and why it is important; who enforces compliance; resources for small clinics; fit testing; the differences between N95s; and proper use of PPE.
In addition to the main presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
