Medit has released AuraVue, a cloud-based platform that merges 3D scans and Overjet AI to support diagnostics and patient consultations.

Medit has introduced AuraVue, a cloud-based clinical platform designed to combine 3D intraoral scans with AI-analyzed radiographs to support diagnosis and improve patient consultations. The product was developed in partnership with Overjet.

Platform Combines Scans and Radiographs

AuraVue enables clinicians to display intraoral 3D scans and X-rays in a single interface. The platform incorporates Overjet’s FDA-cleared AI technology, which analyzes radiographic images for indicators such as decay and bone loss.

“Most patients understand best when they can see what’s happening,” said Michael Lee, chief technology officer of Medit. “AuraVue transforms diagnostics into a visual story—helping patients better understand their oral health in seconds and empowering clinicians to communicate with confidence.”

Real-Time Visualization of Clinical Conditions

The platform presents intraoral data and radiographic findings in one view, allowing clinicians to compare anatomical features like soft tissue and restorations with underlying bone structures. According to Medit, this combination can support case presentation and patient understanding.

“AuraVue is a strong example of how technology can advance patient-centered care. By combining Medit’s leadership in intra-oral scanning with Overjet’s clinical AI, we’re giving clinicians a clearer, more complete view of oral health than ever before. When patients can see and understand their conditions in real time, trust grows, decisions become easier, and care improves. We’re proud to partner with Medit to make that experience accessible to every practice,” said Wardah Inam, CEO, Overjet.

Workflow and Access Features

AuraVue allows clinicians to highlight areas of concern and display associated diagnostic data from Overjet’s AI. A one-click summary report feature is also included for sharing with patients, other providers, or for insurance documentation.

The software runs entirely on the cloud and requires no installation or local storage. Users can begin using the platform by importing radiographs directly, without needing to install Overjet separately.

Launch and Availability

AuraVue is available immediately. Medit is offering an introductory promotion in conjunction with the launch. Additional details are available on the company’s website.
