Biolux Technology has introduced OrthoPulse lite, a streamlined, lower-cost photobiomodulation device designed for universal use in orthodontic practices.

Biolux Technology has launched OrthoPulse lite, a new light-based orthodontic device that delivers photobiomodulation therapy in a more affordable, compact format. The company says the platform is designed to make light-enabled therapy a standard part of treatment for all orthodontic patients.

Streamlined Device Targets Full Practice Integration

Built on the original OrthoPulse system, the new OrthoPulse lite uses near-infrared (850 nm) light to stimulate bone remodeling and accelerate tooth movement. The device is intended to be used 10 minutes per day and is integrated into daily treatment plans for both aligners and braces.

Biolux has positioned OrthoPulse lite as a baseline treatment tool rather than a premium option. According to the company, the device’s reduced cost allows practices to implement photobiomodulation across their full patient base.

Connected Monitoring Tools Included

The device connects with the OrthoPulse App and Doctor Portal 2.0, enabling remote monitoring and real-time compliance tracking. Usage analytics and engagement tools are designed to support adherence and treatment consistency.

Clinical and Workflow Integration

OrthoPulse lite is classified as a medical device and delivers low-level light therapy to the bone surrounding the tooth roots. Biolux reports the system is designed to fit easily into existing orthodontic workflows without adding significant complexity or chair time.
