With leading industry lectures, AAO provides virtual exhibition platforms to connect business vendors and orthodontists.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session 2020 is coming to a screen near you. With 24 speakers, 2 program tracks, and 12 continuing education credit hours available to practitioners who want to fulfill their education requirements, the new virtual experience, hosted on Saturday, May 2 thru Sunday, May 3, is free of charge to AAO members. Non-members can participate at a discounted rate.

Participating attendees will be able to create their own itinerary and choose from two tracks—clinical and practice management—with a variety of world-class speakers presenting cutting edge lectures, including COVID-19 topics.

“We are meeting orthodontists where they are and making AAO history with this first-of-its-kind virtual event,” says Gary Inman, AAO president. “We’ve made this event free to AAO members, in recognition of the terrible hardships we all are facing right now. Orthodontists can count on the AAO to bring them industry leading lectures, CE opportunities, outstanding keynotes, a virtual happy hour and a top-notch speaker lineup—all from the comfort of their own homes.”

Neal Kravitz, DMD, MS, of Kravitz Orthodontics will deliver the keynote address entitled “Together Though Apart.” Among the speakers, Kyle D. Fagala, DDS, MDS, public speaker and founder of The Digital Orthodontist, will present “This One Time… at Brand Camp: Building a Brand That Keeps People Talking” on May 2, from 10:40 am to 11:40 am CT.

Learning objectives for the lecture include:

  • Create a brand that engages and inspires your audience online and inside your office.
  • Engage your audience on social media and attract new patients to your website.
  • Connect with new patients in your practice by delivering on the promise of your brand reputation.

Virtual Exhibition and Sponsorship Platforms

If you are an exhibitor or sponsor, then don’t miss this chance to access AAO sponsorship opportunities that may amplify your brand to virtual attendees, and get your business products and services noticed by a worldwide group of orthodontists practitioners, and their teams.

To reserve one of these opportunities for your company, visit the exhibitor portal and “ADD AN ADDITIONAL ITEM” to your account.  AAO will use the funds that registered attendees have already paid for 2020 toward the purchase of any of these sponsorships. All remaining refunds will be issued by mail, or credited to practitioner accounts for 2021, as per previously instructed.

Companies that were planning to exhibit at the 2020 Annual Session can now be discovered by AAO members and Virtual Conference attendees through a link to the live exhibit hall floorplan on the Virtual Annual Session webpage, and will also be promoted to virtual attendees on the day of the conference.  Participants are able to add logos to the floorplan, upload videos and much more. Membership benefits provide these features at no additional cost.
