The Board of Trustees of the Chicago Dental Society Foundation (CDSF), Chicago, has appointed Carolyn M. Van Eck as its interim executive director.
Van Eck formerly served as a trustee on the CDSF Board of Directors and as chairman of the Dental Trade Alliance Foundation, both from 2009 to 2011. Van Eck has worked in the dental manufacturing industry for the last 32 years, holding executive positions like vice president & CFO.
The CDSF is the charitable arm of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS), and since 2002 has funded access to dental care programs and dental education in order to improve the oral health care of the communities it serves. Together, CDSF and CDS have donated more than one million dollars to local clinics and programs that help people get the dental care that they need.
