Dentsply Sirona has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies for 2025 while partnering with Amazon Doctors to open a digital dental clinic in an indigenous Brazilian village.

Dentsply Sirona has once again been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Most Responsible Companies, marking its fourth appearance on the annual list. The company attributes the honor to its ongoing ESG efforts under the “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World” program.

New Dental Clinic Opens in Brazilian Indigenous Village

As part of its global outreach efforts, Dentsply Sirona joined its partner, the Amazon Doctors, to open the first digital dental clinic in an indigenous village in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest. Located in the Rio Silveira village in Bertioga city, São Paulo, the clinic will serve approximately 1,000 indigenous individuals and will be managed by the Amazon Doctors.

Built within a 70-square-meter facility, the clinic is equipped with donated Dentsply Sirona technology, including a Primescan AC and a Sinius dental chair. It is designed to perform up to 40 dental appointments per week across specialties such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, and prosthetics. Advanced technologies such as intraoral scanning and computer-assisted planning will be used to support diagnosis and treatment.

Long-Term Commitment to Global Oral Health

Dentsply Sirona’s collaboration with the Amazon Doctors spans nearly a decade and has brought dental care to 52 indigenous communities in Brazil. Over the course of this partnership, teams have delivered more than 100,000 treatments and traveled over 60,000 kilometers to reach remote populations.

The new clinic supports Dentsply Sirona’s broader sustainability goals, including its pledge to enable 25 million smiles by the end of 2025. In addition to its work with the Amazon Doctors, the company partners with organizations such as Smile Train, Project 32, and TeamSmile to extend access to dental care worldwide.
