Dentsply Sirona has renewed its partnership with Women in DSO through 2025 as part of broader initiatives to advance inclusion and support female leadership in dentistry.

Dentsply Sirona has extended its partnership with Women in DSO, continuing its support of the nonprofit organization through 2025. Women in DSO works to elevate and support female leaders within dental service organizations.

“Dentsply Sirona is an organization that walks the talk when it comes to efforts related to building equitable teams,” said Dr Aman Kaur, founder & CEO of Women in DSO. “It has been a joy to work with empowered leaders across this organization and they continue to be a key partner as we expand our mission globally.”

The renewed partnership includes mentorship, speaking opportunities, and participation in industry events such as DS World.

Focus on Diversity and Inclusion

The announcement aligns with Dentsply Sirona’s broader inclusion strategy, “BEYOND: Taking Action for a Brighter World.” Andrea Frohning, senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Dentsply Sirona, emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.

“More than 55% of dental school graduates in the US today are women—a clear sign of the industry’s evolution,” Frohning said. “This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting women’s growth and success.”

Celebrating Inclusion Month

In May, Dentsply Sirona launched its “Month of Inclusion” initiative to encourage employee engagement and highlight workplace diversity. Activities included global events, internal learning opportunities, and the launch of a digital Inclusion Pledge Wall.

One event, a “Global Conversation of Understanding” titled Inspiring Inclusion Across Cultures, featured voices from across the company discussing cultural diversity and workplace belonging.

Impact of Employee Resource Groups

The company currently supports nine Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) with over 4,100 active members. Frohning noted that employees engaged in ERGs report higher satisfaction and a stronger sense of connection.

“These findings show once again how important inclusion and engagement are to both personal well-being and business success,” she said.

Dentsply Sirona’s continued investment in inclusion initiatives reinforces its commitment to shaping a more equitable future for the dental industry.
