SmileDirectClub, Nashville, Tenn, announced new appointments and promotions to its executive team. The personnel changes are aimed at creating new role and responsibilities to meet the company’s growth.

SmileDirectClub now has more than 200 SmileShops across the United States and Canada.

The new appointments include Kay Oswald, as president of international, where he will lead the company’s launch into target markets across Asia, Europe, and South America; and Justin Skinner, as chief technology officer, who will align the company’s global vision for technology with its overall business goals. Promotions include Steve Cicurel, named chief development officer—a role that will see him leading international growth and product expansion; and Cheryl DeSantis, named chief people officer—a position that will focus on hiring and the company’s structure.

The company, which was founded 4 years ago, is currently valued at $3.2 billion and employs nearly 4,000 people.
