The NuTorque™ programmable electric handpiece from DentalEZ® Group, Malvern, Pa, received the highest ratings possible from THE DENTAL ADVISOR, according to an announcement from the company. Specifically, the NuTorque received a 5+ rating and the Editors’ Choice award from the evaluation organization. The NuTorque received a 98% clinical approval rating from THE DENTAL ADVISOR’s evaluators.
The NuTorque system electric handpiece features a touch screen display and torque control ranges from 0.1-3.0 Ncm with capabilities of 384 Ncm. The system also features fully customizable presets and 29 possible reduction ratios. The main display provides a customizable set-up mode and endo mode, which includes five endo memory presets that can be individually designed and tailored to fit various endodontic procedures. NuTorque attachments feature corrosion-resistant titanium housings.
