Trapezio, Acworth, Ga, has officially launched the Academy of OSHA Safety, a new online course designed to train orthodontic team members on federally mandated OSHA requirements. The new program offers a look at safety topics including bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, and general office safety. It is now available as part of the new Learning Management System (LMS) offered by Trapezio.
The content of the Academy of OSHA Safety was developed by Leslie Canham (pictured), a veteran consultant with almost 40 years of dental experience. Canham is authorized by the Department of Labor as an OSHA Outreach Trainer in General Industry Standards.
Like other Trapezio courses, the Academy of OSHA Safety is structured for maximum comprehension by students. Each of the three lessons requires an examination with an overall passing score of at least 75%. Scoring is securely stored in the system for administrative review, future assessments, and tracking of annually required OSHA training. Once they pass all the exams, team members and administrators can print the OSHA Certificate of Completion to store within their OSHA manual.
