Mydent International, Hauppauge, NY, has introduced a new Autoclave Cleaner to its line of DEFEND products. The cleaner removes grease, grime, and accumulations of scale deposits to help keep steam autoclaves in peak operating condition.
According to the company, the cleaner, which is available in 32 ounce size, is made with a high-performance concentrate—4 ounces makes a 68 ounce solution. The solution contains anionic and non-ionic surfactants. In addition, the Autoclave Cleaner contains no phosphates with a mild alkaline solution.
