TeleVox Software, Mobile, Ala, has announced that its T.LINK online patient portal is now being used by more than 1,000,000 patients and responsible parties to communicate with their dentists or orthodontists.
 
According to the company, T.LINK  provides convenient online access to account and appointment information, as well as e-mail and text message notifications to patients and responsible parties. Another T.LINK feature is online bill payment, which allows offices to collect patient payments online through their secure Web site. The system currently collects nearly $10 million annually in online patient payments.
 
"It’s no surprise that T.LINK has grown to have such a large user base," says Lisa Taylor, TeleVox’s senior vice president of client operations. "We rarely encounter a practice that doesn’t see the value of adding an online element to their communication strategy.
