Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, announced the program for the Forum 2019 set to take place February 20 to 23, 2019, in San Antonio, Tex at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. According to a press release from the company, the orthodontic-focused event “will deliver content incorporating disruptive technologies and techniques to help enhance patient experiences, drive consumer engagement, and delivery superior results.” In addition, the event aims to bring attention to the industry’s most pressing topics, ranging from airway and TMD treatment, new aligner therapy, advancements in passive self-ligation, enhanced marketing strategies, and fostering a culture of excellence.
Among the more than 25 speakers at this year’s 18th annual event are Drs Chris Chang (Taiwan), Dwight Damon (Wash), Stuart Frost (Ariz), Daniel Klauer (Ind), Sonia Palleck (Canada), Jamie Reynolds (Mich) and Vas Srinivasan (Australia). Additional featured practice performance speakers include Drs Grant Collins, Jeff Kozlowski, Dovi Prero, and Sonia Palleck.

Pre-Forum seminars will start on February 20, led by Drs Michael Bicknell and James Miller, who will provide detailed introductions to passive self-ligation and digital treatment modalities, from the philosophies to detailed planning and mechanics. To cap off the Forum, a “Ranch & Rodeo” charity fundraiser benefitting the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation will be held at an offsite location.
