Intiveo has completed its SOC 2 Type II audit, meeting a key industry standard for data security and confidentiality in healthcare technology.

Intiveo, a provider of patient engagement software for dental practices, has completed its SOC 2 Type II audit. The certification is an independent assessment of a company’s controls related to security, availability, and confidentiality.

SOC 2 Type II is widely recognized as a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of information security systems, particularly for organizations that handle sensitive patient data. It is often required by dental service organizations (DSOs) and management service organizations (MSOs) when selecting technology vendors.

“Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance is a testament to the security and reliability of our platform and people,” said Owen Ingraham, Chief Technology Officer at Intiveo. “We understand the trust our customers place in us to safeguard their data, and this compliance demonstrates our ongoing investment in delivering a secure patient experience.”

The audit supports Intiveo’s positioning as a technology partner for practices that require secure, compliant tools for patient communication. The company also recently introduced a Trust Center, designed to provide greater transparency into its data protection and compliance practices.
