Ormco Corp,Orange, Calif, now offers Insignia™ Clearguide Express aligners.Designed for patients requiring minor anterior tooth movement, the clearaligners are custom-designed using the company’s 3D Insignia software.
According to an announcement from the company, Insignia ClearguideExpress aligner sets are designed throughout the course of treatmentinstead of up front as with traditional aligner systems. The alignersuse Heat N Bite technology as a self-checking mechanism to evaluateprogress at selected treatment intervals and prevent the need for newimpressions. Subsequent sets of aligners are custom-made to achieveremaining treatment goals.
Each Insignia Clearguide Express tray can achieve up to 2.5 mm of movement per tooth over a succession of up to 10 aligner sets.
