LeoneAmerica Dental Products Inc, Oxnard, Calif., the sole U.S. and Canadian distributor for the Rapid Expander, announced the immediate availability of a new 15 mm model. This new size joins the traditional 8 mm to 13 mm options available.
The expander arms are laser welded within the body of the screw, providing strength and stability throughout treatment, according to the company. The ratchet style screw features a built-in stop to hold the screw in place upon reaching the expansion maximum.
The new 15 mm version is intended to allow for a greater range of treatment possibilities within the 620 series expander line.
