Ormco launches Spark Retainers and BiteSync Class II Corrector in the United States and Canada, expanding digital orthodontic treatment options with flexible retention and bite correction tools.
Ormco has announced the official U.S. launch of two new additions to its Spark Clear Aligner portfolio: Spark Retainers and the BiteSync Class II Corrector system. Both products will be introduced at the 2025 American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session in Philadelphia.
Spark Retainers Now Available
Spark Retainers (shown above) are designed to offer a range of customizable features, including bite ramps, pontics, and trimlines, and can be ordered in varying quantities without requiring a subscription. Made from the same TruGEN XR material as Spark Clear Aligners, the retainers aim to maintain clarity, fit, and comfort for long-term use, according to the company.

“Through Spark technology, I can extend the same premium patient experience from initial treatment through retention,” said Colby Gage, DMD. “The clinical options with Spark Retainers help me maintain the beautiful smile outcomes I achieve with Spark Clear Aligners, Ormco Digital Bonding, or Damon Ultima braces.”
BiteSync Targets Class II Correction
Also launched is BiteSync, a two-part system featuring the Occlusion Guide for mandibular advancement and the SideBar for maxillary distalization. The system is designed for use in both adolescent and adult patients and integrates directly into Spark’s digital workflow.
“BiteSync has corrected Class II cases quickly and efficiently in my practice. I’m getting bite correction in less than 6 months. It has worked great for my teen and adult patients,” said Jennifer Messenger, DDS, MS.
Company Statement
“We are excited to bring Spark Retainers to our doctors so they can maintain their patients’ new smiles with a retainer designed to be long-lasting and more comfortable,” said Jay Issa, vice president of portfolio management at Ormco. “With the launch of BiteSync, we can now effectively treat Class II malocclusions eliminating the need for a separate appliance or software.”
Spark Retainers and the BiteSync system are now available in the United States and Canada.
