The product was developed by Dino Cacchiotti, DDS, MS, a practicing orthodontist in Moses Lake, Wash, and founder of the company.
Developed to Address Time and Cost Challenges
The Cx Precoat Box was created to address the time-intensive nature of indirect bonding and precoated brackets. It allows clinical staff to preload brackets with adhesive during downtime. When brought chairside, this preparation method has shown to reduce appointment length. According to Cx Orthodontic Supply, assistants report saving up to 10 minutes per patient during bracket placement.

“Doctor time is one of the most limited and valuable resources in our field,” said Cacchiotti. “We built this tool to help orthodontists reduce chair time without compromising quality, giving them the flexibility to see more patients and improve practice flow.”
