Richard Rosato, DMD, Elected President-Elect of ADA
Richard Rosato, DMD, a dentist from Concord, NH, has been elected president-elect of the ADA for the 2024-2025 term. Rosato’s election took place during the ADA House of Delegates meeting at SmileCon in New Orleans on Oct. 22. With more than three decades of active involvement in the ADA, Rosato brings extensive experience, having served in various leadership roles, including chair of the ADA Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs, and as a trustee for the 1st District from 2019 to 2023.
In his new role, Rosato aims to build on the ADA’s recent successes, particularly in addressing global challenges and advocating for national insurance reform. “The ADA can ensure quality care for our patients and secure the practice of dentistry. Opportunities abound,” Rosato said. He has also held leadership roles at the state level, including president of the New Hampshire Dental Society in 2010, and has been involved with numerous professional organizations throughout his career.
Rosato, a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, owns Capitol Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Concord, where he lives with his wife and three children.
Tamara Berg, DDS, Named ADA Second Vice President
Tamara S. Berg, DDS, a dentist from Yukon, Okla., has been elected as the ADA’s new second vice president. With 29 years of membership in the ADA, Berg has served in several key positions, including president of the Oklahoma Dental Association and a member of the ADA Council on Membership.
Having worked in private practice for more than 30 years, Berg is keenly aware of the challenges faced by dentists. “Together, we will collaborate to find innovative and sustainable solutions that improve the patient experience and help us be more successful on every level,” Berg said. She has received several awards, including the ODA Distinguished Dental Service Award and the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry Alumnus of the Year Award.
Berg lives in Yukon, Okla., with her husband and two sons.
Cody Graves, DDS, MBA, Elected ADA Treasurer
Cody C. Graves, DDS, MBA, a dentist from Goldthwaite, Texas, has been elected as the new treasurer of the ADA. With a strong financial background, including a Master of Business Administration, Graves will oversee the association’s finances and help guide its budgetary processes. His leadership experience includes roles on various ADA committees, such as the Strategic Forecasting Task Force and the Finance Service Task Force.
Graves has also held leadership positions within the Texas Dental Association, where he served as president and secretary/treasurer. Outside of dentistry, he serves as vice chair of MCBank’s board of directors.
Graves earned degrees in economics and dentistry and has practiced with his father since 2005. He lives in Goldthwaite with his wife and two daughters.
