The American Dental Association Foundation (ADAF), Chicago, is now accepting applications for its 2015 Samuel D. Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health program.
The ADAF created the Samuel D. Harris Fund for Children’s Dental Health in 1999 through a permanent endowment established by a gift from Dr Samuel D. Harris, a pediatric dentist and philanthropist. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded through a competitive process to aid dental community programs aimed at improving children’s dental health.
In 2014, the ADAF awarded 25 Harris grants with a total value of more than $115,000. The application and guidelines document is available on the ADA Foundation’s website. The application deadline is Friday, April 10.
