RonRedmond optThe University of the Pacific recently received a $5 million donation from Ron Redmond, DDS, and his wife Margaret for the renovation of the school’s new downtown San Francisco building, according to an article on Dr.Bicuspid.com. The new building is slated to house the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Redmond, who has a private orthodontic practice in Laguna Nigel, Calif, served on the university’s board of regents from 2004 to 2012. He is also a former president of the Pacific Dugoni Foundation and chaired the dental school’s Commitment to Excellence campaign, raising more than $65 million.

Redmond is an alumnus of the school.
