Biolux Technology is focusing on expanding OrthoPulse adoption through strategic partnerships with DSOs and OSOs.

Biolux Technology, developer of OrthoPulse, announced a new initiative aimed at scaling the adoption of the OrthoPulse device across group practices. The company says it is focusing on a nationwide expansion of strategic partnerships with leading dental and orthodontic support organizations (DSOs/OSOs).

Clinical Applications of OrthoPulse

OrthoPulse uses near-infrared light therapy, shown in clinical studies to accelerate tooth movement, reduce discomfort, and support oral health, including periodontal improvement and post-treatment bone remodeling during the retention phase. The FDA-cleared device is used in both aligner and bracket-based treatment.

Digital Platform for Patient and Provider Support

In addition to the device, the company offers a digital platform, including a patient app that provides daily usage tracking and automated reminders to improve compliance; a doctor portal that offers real-time insights into patient progress and adherence; and compliance monitoring that allows for more predictable outcomes and early intervention, according to the company.

Strategic Focus on Group Practices

The company says it is actively collaborating with DSO/OSO procurement teams to incorporate OrthoPulse into bundled treatment offerings and clinical workflows, pointing out that OrthoPulse integration can improve revenue, case acceptance, and workflow efficiency.

“We’re not just scaling a device—we’re scaling smarter orthodontics,” said Michael Hendricks, head of U.S. at Biolux Technology. “By partnering with top DSOs and OSOs, we’re embedding OrthoPulse into everyday workflows—improving patient outcomes, boosting revenue, and setting a new standard in orthodontic care.”
