Lea Al Matny, DDS, MS, has joined Atlanta-based Carestream Dental as its clinical specialty director. In the position, Al Matny will work with the company’s sales organization to develop and implement effective scientific training on the company’s imaging solutions, such as cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). She will also serve as an educator, consultant, and instructional expert for clinical development.
Al Matny is an oral and maxillofacial radiologist from the University of Texas Health in San Antonio (UTHSA) and holds a Master of Science degree from the same university. At the UTHSA, Al Matny served as a teaching assistant focused on developing the technical and diagnostic rational skills of pre-doctoral dental students.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon.
