This year’s FDI Sustainability in Dentistry Summit will take place virtually from June 18 to 20, from 4 to 5:30 pm CEST daily. The global event will feature eco-friendly dental practices, sustainability resources, and impactful initiatives via insightful presentations and interactive discussions, as well as a virtual exhibition.
Dentsply Siron invited participants to visit its digital booth at the event. The booth will provide sustainability resources and insights into projects and initiatives supported by the company. Rainer Seemann, DMD, PhD, vice president global clinical affairs and workflows at Dentsply Sirona, will also be on the ‘Sustainability and Education’ panel on June 19, discussing educational resources for dental professionals provided by Dentsply Sirona and the FDI Sustainability in Dentistry initiative.

Dental professionals interested in attending the FDI Sustainability in Dentistry Summit can register for free on the FDI website. Additionally, applications for the FDI 2024 Sustainability Award are open until July 1. Sponsored by Dentsply Sirona and other partners, the award promotes sustainable dentistry practices by recognizing outstanding or innovative measures taken to further sustainability. Winners will be announced in September 2024 at the FDI World Dental Congress in Istanbul.
