Independent testing organization, Clinicians Report, made positive observations of the FTG DC-Air wireless x-ray sensor in a recent issue.

The DC-Air wireless x-ray sensor by Freedom Technologies Group received positive feedback from Clinicians Report, an independent, non-profit dental education and product testing foundation.

Clinicians Report’s evaluation of the DC-Air found that it produced detailed images with high resolution and excellent dynamic range.

In the evaluation, image transfer and processing took 6-8 seconds, and users found the wireless sensor easy to work with and comfortable when compared to corded sensors.

“This latest issue of Clinicians Report is a big deal for us,” said Luke Scott, FTG director of sales and marketing. “We’ve known from the beginning that the DC-Air delivers a real step forward for the modality, but to receive affirmation from such an objective and respected organization as Clinicians Report is a milestone that we have spent a long time working and hoping for.”

Clinicians Report was founded in 1976 by clinicians to confirm new products’ efficacy and clinical usefulness. It tests more than 750 different product brands each year, performing around 20,000 field evaluations.
