The orthodontic supply management platform announced the appointment following record growth in the initial half of 2026.
Orthodontic Details has named Robin Norfleet as vice president of supplier success. The appointment occurs as the supply management platform reports its strongest half-year to date, adding more practices in the initial six months of 2026 than in all of 2025.
Decades of Industry Experience
Norfleet brings 28 years of orthodontic sales experience to the position. She previously worked as director of sales at Cloud 9 Software, a cloud-based orthodontic practice management system, leading sales through the company’s acquisition by Accel-KKR. Her background also includes senior roles at Tops and GC America.
“Robin knows the industry from every side of the table,” says Nick Wangler, Orthodontic Details co-founder, in a release. “As we’ve simplified ordering for practices, it’s become clear that the same technology can solve meaningful problems for suppliers too. Robin’s relentless drive and experience make her the ideal person to help create better outcomes for suppliers, and in-turn, an even better experience for the doctors we serve.”
Managing Increased Order Volume
Details currently serves more than 280 practices across over 500 offices. According to the company, these practices are on pace to order over 1 million units through the platform this year. This volume involves more than 200 suppliers and encompasses a wide range of practice needs, from clinical supplies like brackets and wires to office items.
“I’ve spent my career building relationships across the orthodontic industry, and I’ve learned that the greatest opportunities don’t come from improving individual transactions, they come from improving how we work together,” says Norfleet in a release. “We’re building a network that brings practices, suppliers, and sales teams together through greater transparency, stronger partnerships, and shared insights.”
Industry professionals have voiced support for the transition. Dr Jeff Mastroianni, founder of Amazing Smiles Orthodontics, highlighted her operational expertise and commitment to helping practices succeed, noting her talent for bringing people together to solve problems.
