Solventum has appointed Dr Parag Kachalia as global clinical evidence director, digital platform. According to the company, in this role, Kachalia will lead the clinical evidence strategy for the company’s digital solutions, focusing on making high-quality dental care more predictable and accessible worldwide.
Extensive Clinical and Academic Background
Kachalia, who joined Solventum on September 15, brings 25 years of experience spanning clinical practice, academic leadership, and dental technology strategy. He most recently served as head of clinical practice at Overjet and chief clinical officer of Seattle Study Club.
Previously, Kachalia held a tenured faculty appointment as associate professor and vice chairperson of simulation, technology, and research at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has also been recognized as one of Incisal Edge’s 32 Most Influential People in Dentistry.
Advancing Digital Workflows
At Solventum, Kachalia will leverage his background in academia, clinical practice, and AI integration to advance digital workflows. According to the company, these efforts will support diagnostic accuracy and advance clinician decision-making globally.
