The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified or recertified 136 examinees who participated in the Clinical Examination held February 16 to 22, 2012, in Dallas.
During the exam session, 95 orthodontists successfully completed the Gateway Certification Examination, thereby maintaining their certification. Thirty-four orthodontists passed the Initial Certification Examination (ICE), and seven orthodontists banked cases for the eventual completion of the ICE.
Three orthodontists successfully completed the Beginning Certification Examination. In addition, two orthodontists completed the Voluntary Recertification Examination, and two orthodontists completed earlier pathways.
