Ethics International Inc, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, has introduced the new aveoTSD, a tongue-stabilizing device for the treatment of mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. According to the company, orthodontic sleep medicine specialists and engineers worked to refine the device to help chronic sufferers achieve a comfortable night’s sleep.
The aveoTSD attaches to the tongue using suction, stabilizing the tongue so that it does not fall back and block the airway during sleep.
