Roland DGA Corp,Irvine, Calif, has introduced the DWX-30 dental milling machine. Theproduction tool creates copings, crowns, and bridges in zirconia andwax.
The DWX-30 features an integratedclamping system and virtual panel. Three types of clamps are included,including one for discs and two for blocks.
Materials can be cut on the top, bottom, and at +/-20° forcomplex geometry. A tool sensor also automates machine and tool setup.As an open platform, the DWX-30 supports all industry-standard dentalCAD/CAM application software.
The DWX-30 also features an integrated dust collection system toremove debris.
