The Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA), Acworth, Ga, changed the its name to Trapezio.The name was changed to provide a global identity that will better leverage the company’s training solutions. Along with the name change, Trapezio is also unveiling a new corporate identity, including a logo change, communication visuals and a corporate Web site.

“This continues to be an exciting time for the Academy. With a new corporate umbrella unveiled, we can start setting the stage for the future,” said Doug Depew, DDS, founder and academic director. “Trapezio will continue to offer a high level of service and commitment to our customers. The Academy training programs will remain the core focus of our business.”

“The new name gives us a distinctive identity but also provides flexibility for future products and services,” said Chad Greer, president.“Our new image will reflect our unique personality while supporting our intense commitment to improve education and knowledge throughout the orthodontic marketplace.”
