Whip Mix, Louisville, Ky, has signed a partnership agreement with DDME for exclusive global distribution rights in the dental market of its home monitoring system and oral appliance system to address bruxism and airway issues.
The home monitoring system measures sleep patterns, airway, bruxism, snoring, and sleep apnea. Depending on the results of the sleep test, the treating dental professional can then either refer the patient to a sleep physician or prescribe a short-term oral appliance.
Along with the exclusive distribution rights to DDME’s products, the partnership also includes access to DDME’s sleep technicians and a physician’s referral network.
