COVID-19 Respiratory Protection Plan Guide & Template

OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134) must include safety measures implemented to protect the orthodontic team from risk of COVID-19 infection and other airborne infectious diseases at work. Just like a practice’s written, customized infection control plan and hazard plan, the respiratory plan identifies the risk, outlines policies, and communicates protective measures for low, medium, and high risk employees.

Dorst will provide a comprehensive guide and template for a COVID-19 Respiratory Protection Plan.

During Dorst’s presentation, attendees will learn the risk of SARs-CoV-2 for low, medium, and high risk orthodontic employees; workplace controls for SARs-CoV-2; and PPE for orthodontic aerosol generating procedures.
