The five complimentary sessions in November and December will offer continuing education credits for topics including case selection, scanning, and orthodontic treatment planning.

Dentsply Sirona is offering five complimentary live webinars in November and December 2026 through the Dentsply Sirona Academy. The sessions will cover clear aligner case selection, connected implant workflows, digital scanning, and orthodontic treatment planning. Each one-hour webinar provides one continuing education credit.

Orthodontic Planning and Digital Scanning

Dr Cory Costanzo will present a webinar on December 17 detailing how integrating CBCT into digital simulations enables clinicians to account for root movement and bony limitations during aligner planning. The presentation will explore the forces acting on teeth, aligner trim-line alternatives, and attachment utilization.

Earlier in the month, on December 15, Dr Reena Patel will discuss cloud-native scanning with Primescan 2 and DS Core. Her session will cover team adoption of digital impressions and how scan-driven conversations can help patients understand their oral health and proposed treatments.

Clear Aligner Case Selection and Elastics

On November 10, Dr Elio Filice will lead a session designed for general dentists on identifying suitable candidates for SureSmile Clear Aligners, evaluating case complexity, and determining when to refer patients to a specialist. The webinar will address mild crowding, orthodontic relapse, and pre-restorative treatment.

On December 8, Dr Brian Gaudreault will focus on the biomechanical role of interarch elastics in clear aligner therapy. This session, which is designed for dentists and will examine clinical situations that benefit from elastics, such as selected Class II and Class III malocclusions, midline corrections, and vertical corrections, along with staging considerations and patient adherence strategies.

Digital Implant Workflows

Dr Joe Chichetti will lead a November 17 session on the connections between CBCT-driven diagnosis, virtual treatment planning, guided surgery, and final restoration. Participants will learn about in-house surgical guide fabrication using Primeprint and utilizing DS Core for treatment visualization.
