OpalOrthodontics, South Jordan, Utah, will host the firstannual women’s conference for female orthodontists. Theconference will take place June 10 to 11, 2010, in Chicago.
The event offers networking opportunities for orthodontists and theirstaff, as well as CE credit hours. Attendees can receive 8 CE credithours for $199. Students, faculty, and staff may attend at no cost.
Lecture topics will include a comparison between self-ligating andtraditional ligating bracket systems, techniques for improving theaesthetics of orthodontic treatment, clerical and clinical protocols foran efficient orthodontic practice, and how to balance a personaland professional career. All the lectures will be conducted from a femaleperspective.
