Henry Schein Inc is marking the 20th anniversary of Practice Pink, its global initiative that brings together healthcare professionals, supplier partners, and nonprofit organizations to support cancer research and prevention.

Two Decades of Contributions

Since the program began 20 years ago, Henry Schein and its partners have contributed more than US $2.1 million to cancer-related causes. These funds help advance research, prevention, early detection, and access to care for people affected by cancer. By offering customers a variety of pink products, including healthcare consumables, practice supplies, and apparel, Practice Pink enables dental and medical professionals to join in supporting these efforts.

“For two decades, Practice Pink has shown what is possible when our global healthcare community comes together around a shared purpose,” says Jennifer Kim Field, vice president and chief sustainability officer at Henry Schein, in a release. “What began as an effort to raise awareness has grown into a meaningful tradition of collaboration among our customers, supplier partners, Team Schein Members, and nonprofit partners. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and remain committed to supporting organizations making a difference for people impacted by cancer.”

Global Support Network

Participating countries support organizations and activities tailored to the needs of their local communities. The Practice Pink program supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities in the US, as well as various organizations in Europe, including ALADINA in Spain, Cancer Research UK, KWF in The Netherlands, LILT in Italy, and Odyssea in France.

Practice Pink is part of Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate citizenship program, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
