In this webinar, Trevor Nichols, DMD, MS, an orthodontist in private practice at Frost Orthodontics in Arizona, will share his five key steps to successful clear aligner treatment set up and planning, including steps to solve complex malocclusions such as gummy smile correction. He will also share his tested clinical protocols to increase predictability and efficiency with clear aligners that then benefits both the orthodontist and patient.
The 1-credit CE webinar, titled “The 5 Keys: Gaining Confidence with Clear Aligner Treatment Planning Tools,” will be held live from 5:30-6:30 pm PDT on April 8, 2021.
During the webinar, Nichols will review clear aligner diagnostics and treatment planning. At the end of the webinar, attendees will understand the key steps to tooth movement progression for complex malocclusions and be able to recognize they key elements of arch width, smile arc, and more. In addition, they will be able to identify treatment characteristics and features to support excellent clinical outcomes.
Nichols has received numerous educational and clinical awards. He attended Arizona State University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Fitness and graduated as ASU’s Valedictorian. He then attended Arizona’s School of Dentistry and Oral health for his Doctoral training. While there he also completed a certificate in dental public health. After obtaining his DMD, Nichols completed his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and gained a Master’s Degree while completing research on temporomandibular joint dysfunction. He has also received inaugural awards in clinical excellence and leadership.
