Darby Dental Supply LLC, Jericho, NY, has added Carestream Dental’s KODAK 8000 Digital Panoramic System, KODAK 9000 Extraoral Imaging System, and SOFTDENT Practice Management Software to its product line.
The KODAK 8000 takes panoramic images and provides immediate access to extraoral images. With the KODAK 8000, users have the option to upgrade to the KODAK 8000C System for one-shot cephalometric imaging.
According to Darby, The KODAK 9000 features the lowest radiation levels in its class and has an open, face-to-face design to help minimize positioning errors. The KODAK 9000 can also be upgraded to the KODAK 9000C for cephalometric imaging.
Designed for multi-doctor practices, SOFTDENT practice-management software features reporting abilities and provides billing options for practices that participate in capitation or managed-care insurance plans, perform medical cross-coding, require multiple fee schedules, or subscribe to PPO insurance plans.
