Biolux Technology will present its FDA-cleared OrthoPulse device at the 2025 AAO Annual Session in Philadelphia, highlighting its use of near-infrared light to accelerate orthodontic treatment.

Biolux Technology announced its attendance at the upcoming American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Annual Session in Philadelphia. The company will showcase OrthoPulse, an FDA-cleared device that uses low levels of near-infrared light to help accelerate tooth movement during orthodontic treatment. The device can be used in both braces and aligner treatment.

The 2025 AAO Annual Session will take place April 25 to 27 in Philadelphia, where Biolux will be exhibiting at Booth #2150. Attendees will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of OrthoPulse and learn more about the clinical applications of light-accelerated orthodontics.

According to the company, OrthoPulse is currently the only FDA-cleared device of its kind that uses near-infrared light to stimulate the bone surrounding the roots of teeth. According to Biolux, this technology helps accelerate tooth movement, potentially shortening overall treatment time for orthodontic patients.

In addition to clinical efficiencies, the device is also being positioned as a strategic tool for orthodontic practices. “OrthoPulse isn’t just a tool—it’s a growth driver for practices that offer both clear aligners and braces,” said Dr Eric Wu. “As the orthodontic landscape evolves, doctors need innovation that delivers tangible clinical results while boosting their business. OrthoPulse offers exactly that for practices looking to differentiate themselves and stay ahead of the curve.”

Orthodontists attending the conference can book personalized demos of the OrthoPulse device and explore its accompanying digital platform.
